Job Summary

  • This is a FULLY REMOTE position that supports licensing projects in the US.  
  • Manages and completes licensing projects for clients including development of licensing applications to be delivered to the NRC and supporting documents.  
  • Supports RAI responses.  
  • Self-starter and motivated to deliver excellent results. 
  • An established leader with a track record of delivering results. 
  • Travel to client sites as required by contractual requirements. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 25+ years of experience in nuclear licensing 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.  
  • Ability to navigate regulatory conversations effectively and write technical documentation  
  • Experience with a minimum of one of the following areas (technical and/or licensing) 
  • Improved Tech Spec implementation 
  • Power Uprates 
  • License Renewal / Subsequent License Renewal 
  • 24 Month Fuel Cycle Extensions 
  • AP1000 
  • New nuclear licensing 
  • Early site permits 
  • COLAs 
  • Construction Permits 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous or current SRO license 
  • Experience working for or with NRC 
  • Familiarity with nuclear regulations, licensing processes, and regulatory guidance documents (e.g., NRC regulations, NUREGs). 
  • Experience in preparing or reviewing licensing documents 
  • Demonstrated project management skills 
  • Experience overseeing the work of a team 
  • Engaged in the changing nuclear licensing landscape  
  • Track record of delivering innovative approaches to solve licensing challenges

Compensation Range

  • Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the role. 
  • The estimated hourly pay range for this role is $100-$150/hr.
